Refunds and right of withdrawal

1. Our policy — 7-day money-back guarantee

If Backtestify is not what you expected, email support@backtestify.com within 7 days of your payment and we refund it in full, no questions asked. Refunds go back to the original payment method. Your Pro access ends when the refund is issued.

2. Statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

Because we sell a digital service from France to consumers in the EU, you normally have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from the contract and receive a refund, without giving a reason. This right exists independently of our own guarantee above.

That right can only be lost if you expressly ask us to begin performance immediately and acknowledge that doing so ends your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully supplied. That is exactly what the required checkbox at checkout records:

“I want immediate access and I understand this waives my 14-day right of withdrawal.”

We store that consent with your account id and the timestamp, so both sides have proof of what was agreed and when. If you did not tick it, you can withdraw within 14 days regardless of the 7-day policy above. Even where the waiver applies, our 7-day money-back guarantee still stands.
