• Your account identity from sign-in (email, Google sign-in identifier).
• What you submit: strategy descriptions, chart screenshots, video links, forecasts and, on a paid plan, your trading journal.
• Saved backtest reports, including the rules executed and the results.
• Plan and billing identifiers. Card details go to Stripe and never reach Backtestify.
• A log of the emails we send you, and any message you send through the contact form.
• Salted hashes of your device and network address, used only to enforce free usage limits and stop abuse. They are set with a first-party cookie (bt_did).

To run backtests, show your archive, enforce usage limits and prevent abuse, take payment, send the emails you ask for, answer support, and keep invoices as the law requires.

You. Ownership is enforced on the server for every read and delete. A report becomes visible to anyone with its link only if you make it public, and you can turn that off. The operator can access accounts to give support and to deal with abuse.

You can delete any report at any time, and from Plan and billing you can export or delete your whole account. Deleting an account removes your reports, journal, uploads and account records, and your payment customer record. Counters used for the free limits are kept without your identity, and Stripe keeps the invoices it is required to keep.

Market history comes from public exchange endpoints. Some of these providers are based in or operate from outside the European Union.

Sign-in and the usage-limit cookie are needed for the service to work. Analytics (Google Analytics) loads only if you accept it in the banner, and you can change your mind by clearing this site's data.
