What we store

• Your account identity from sign-in (email / provider identifier).
• The strategy descriptions you submit.
• Saved backtest reports, including the rules executed and the results.
• Plan and subscription status once billing is enabled.

Why we store it

To run backtests, show your archive, enforce usage limits, and make results reproducible.

Who can see it

Only your account. Reports are queried with your identity and ownership is enforced on the server for every read and delete.

Deletion

You can delete any report from your archive at any time. Deleting a report removes its stored rules, results and narrative.

Third parties

Market history comes from public exchange endpoints. Strategy text is processed by an AI model provider to convert it into deterministic rules and to write the report narrative. Payment data, once billing is enabled, is handled by the payment provider — card details never reach Backtestify.
